Utah is widely known for it's beautiful landscapes and challenging terrain, and ROAM! is here to help guide you through it in comfort and style. Our full tour covers over 1200 miles of mixed terrain, or you can choose half tours if your time is limited. The Southern sections cross vast desert regions through Moab and the Book Cliffs, and the Northern sections are alpine riding at its finest with tree lined trails and epic mountain views. This is truly an awesome adventure motorcycling experience.

The June tour is sold out and the September tour must be booked by August 5th.

                                Best of Utah Tour Full Itinerary                             

Day 1 - June 13th | September 5th

The first day is a travel day for our out of town clients that are flying, driving or riding into Salt Lake City. This is also a great day to check out the local downtown area if you arrive early. That evening we host a group dinner for both local and out of town clients giving everyone a chance to meet and discuss the ride over a great meal.

Day 2 - June 14th | September 6th

After breakfast at the hotel, the group will head to Wellington, Utah for the starting point of the tour. After all the bikes are loaded and ready to go, a brief riders meeting will be held and then you'll be off through 109 miles of twisty high desert roads on the way to beautiful Moab for lunch. After lunch riders will be treated to another 125 miles of stunning red rock lined roads arriving at the days final destination in Mexican Hat. Clients wishing to get a photo at the Arizona border will have more than enough time to make the short 20 mile trip that the afternoon if they choose. Dinner and lodging will be provided in Mexican Hat.

Day 3 - June 15th | September 7th

Day 3 marks the beginning of Section 1 of the UTBDR. Heading North out of Mexican Hat you'll experience the wonders of Valley of the Gods, and traverse the Moki Dugway road carved in the side of a cliff. Trail side lunch will be provided along the route crossing Brushly Basin road. Continuing North towards Monitcello you'll experience the great double track desert riding Utah is known through fantastic red rock formations, and then stopping at the Dalton Campground for dinner and lodging.

Day 4 - June 16th | September 8th

After a freshly cooked breakfast you'll again head North starting Section 2 through the South Mountain and Spanish Valley areas. After stopping in Moab for lunch and a quick break, you will continue North through the La Sal Mountains and on to Dewey Campground nestled along the shores of the Colorado River. Dinner and lodging will be provided at the campground. If you wish to do the expert only dirt section in Lockart Basin, arrangements can be made just let us know this is your preference.

Day 5 - June 17th | September 9th

Day 5 marks the start of Section 3 heading North through the majestic Book Cliffs then turning West towards Green River for lunch. After lunch you'll continue West through the San Rafeal swell and Cactus Flats areas, then North through more beautiful desert ending up in Wellington for the night. Dinner and lodging will provided here. Out of state clients who are arriving to do the Northern sections will use this as a travel day and will have dinner and stay in a hotel in Salt Lake City.

Day 6 - June 18th | September 10th

The group will have breakfast and then the clients who are only doing the Southern sections will load onto the van for travel back to the Salt Lake City airport or hotel. Also the clients who are only doing the Northern sections will be picked up, and will be transported back to Wellington to meet up with the group to continue the tour with Section 4. Heading North again toward Argyle Canyon you will experience one of the largest petroglyph displays in the area, then start the climb through wooded forest roads to Ashley Forest road for lunch. The ride then continues along the Strawberry River in Simmons Canyon on your way to Strawberry Reservoir and our dinner and campsite for the night.

Day 7 - June 19th | September 11th

After breakfast Day 7 sees the start of Section 5 heading North towards Currant Creek and into the Uinta/Wasatch National Forests. Continuing on lunch will be served along the Soapstone Road, and then the group will continue North along the Mirror Lake Scenic Highway towards Evanston, WY and more beautiful alpine style mountain riding. Evanston will provide the backdrop to the evenings dinner and lodging.

Day 8 - June 20th | September 12th

After breakfast Day 8 you will start of Section 6, the last section of the tour heading North towards Garden City. Lunch will be served along the trail at Monte Cristo Peak, and then the group will continue North through some of Utah's prettiest double track areas and into Garden City for the night. If you wish to get a picture by the Idaho border it's a mere 5 minutes North of Town. The whole group will be treated to a unique glamping experience with each person getting their own covered wagon, and dinner served at the open air restaurant at the resort.

Day 9 - June 21st | September 13th

Day 9 marks the last day of the tour, and after breakfast at the resort the group will ride another 65 miles of twisty canyon roads South towards Brigham City to meet up with the van. There the bikes will be loaded, and you will be taken back to Salt Lake City to the airport or a hotel.

The end of the journey will mark nearly 1200 miles of dirt and fantastic pavement, and while you will be leaving Utah, you won't soon forget the epic adventure you just had!
